1. The only data required for subscription to the Newsletter is the name, surname, and email address of the subscriber.
a. Phone numbers are not required for the newsletter subscription. If a request for phone numbers from Cru is received via email or other forms of online communication, treat with extreme caution and alert Cru Manchester immediately. If phone numbers are exchanged with Cru directors for separate matters, it is by prior agreement and not covered in this privacy statement.
b. Nicknames, aliases, incomplete names (e.g. first names only), false names, or names suspected to be false may result in the subscription being ignored and the data deleted. If an incorrect or inaccurate name is inadvertently entered resulting in data deletion, a second application can be made via email or website submission form.
c. Subscriptions cannot be made on behalf of third parties.
d. Subscriptions cannot be made for impersonal or group email addresses (e.g. info@company.com, accounts@bigcompany.com) whereby an individual cannot consent to the privacy statement.
2. The sole purpose for retaining the data is for sending the Cru Manchester Ltd Newsletter. The required data will:
a. Only be retained for as long as you remain subscribed to the Newsletter.
b. Be stored in an encrypted, secured, offline database owned and controlled exclusively by Cru Manchester Ltd, with no third-party access.
c. Only be uploaded online for the task of sending the Newsletter.
d. Be processed and distributed through the secured Cru Manchester Newsletter provider, Wix.

e. Not be shared with any third party. No changes to this shall be made without clear communication of purpose and without prior, explicit consent of the subscriber.

d. Receive statements about what data is stored (access personal data).
Requests to access or delete personal data held within the Cru Manchester Ltd newsletter system can be made directly to Cru Manchester Ltd. Where data is processed through Wix as part of the newsletter service, such requests will be actioned using Wix’s built-in data request tools in accordance with GDPR and applicable privacy regulations.
